I-485 question on Part 3 of app.form

I am filling out my I-485. I am currently on a J1 visa (no 2 yr requirement) but have just married a US citizen. I have 2 questions:

in Part 3 it asks:

Were you inspected by US Immigration officer?

Is that the standard person that stamps your passport when you arrive in US or does it mean you were asked to step aside?

NonImmigrant Visa Number: Does anyone know where I can find this number? is it the 10 digit number above the barcode on my J1 visa?

Or the exchange visitor program number on my J1 visa?

Many Thanks!

for part 3, yes, when you fell in line and got interviewed by the Immigration officer

as for the non immigrant visa number, is that the same as the Alien #?

1.) If you were inspected then answer it "Yes"

2.) The visa number is on the lower right hand corner. Don't worry about this part, you'll send copies of your passport and visa anyway.

no, you won't have an alien number because of the J-1 visa, so don't worry about that.
