has NVC ever lost your original certificates?

NVC requires us to send the orginal certificates (or certified copies). has NVC ever lost them?? how do i request the NVC to give me back the original certificates when i have my interview, an attachment letter? thanks!

They send all that to the Embassy. We got all of our originals back after the interview, although they two hole punched everything.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)
