Second argument comes about in the amount of energy it would take to construct a vehicle of this type and the environmental impact in using lithium or nickel in it's construction. While Gore is pushing hybrids, little is said about the huge amount of ground contamination caused by producing nickel up in Canada.

Just like our governor, the idiot pushing ethanol, takes just as much fossil fuels to produce a gallon of the stuff as what you get, price of corn skyrocketed from a $1.50 to over $9.00 a bushel causing the cost of meat and diary products to skyrocket, plus an increase in taxes. Other cost is the damage the highly corrosive fuels have caused to fuel systems, particularly in the smal engine fields. The real winners in this escapade were the corn producers, the big losers was everyone else. So this venture just added a very small group of people, that is not equality.
