Hi, i need some help

We have our interview on wed. I was looking over through all document, to make sure everything is fine and on Interview letter check list says we need to bring I-864 with us. We applied all form( I-130, 485 and 765) and documents with a lower and he didn't say anything about I-864 form. I had J-1( 2 years not req) visa and got married a USC... Do we need this form or not??? If so, why my lower didn't mention that? I'm so confused...

the I-864 is the affidavit of support - it should have been filled out by your spouse and sent in with your initial package. it proves that your spouse can afford to support you in the event you can't work.

it seems strange to me that they accepted your application and didn't send you an RFE for this... are you sure your lawyer didn't file this on your behalf?
