I joined this site and used it to compile my I-130 (CR1/IR1) packet for my husband.

I sent it off today and I decided to be pro-active since many other people have been kind enough to share their experiences.

Anywho, moving right along I'm Carmel and I lived in Korea for 2 years.

Dong Hwan was my Korean language exchange partner, who I only studied with one time.

After our first language exchange (or lack of) we began seeing each other more, dating, and fast forward to 13 March when we got married.

I came back home to work and establish life while my husband finishes up his last semester in his university.

Hopefully the visa will be approved by then and he can come on over.

I think this site is cool because I can easily see other people in my same situation and gain strength and knowledge from their experiences.

It's Official: Carmel and Dong Hwan are on the visa journey.

Wish us luck! ^^

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Nice story. Welcome aboard!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
