Can Usama bring us a few buckets? :) Yes, that includes one for the man of the house, lol.

Yeah I guess I gotta give my husband a little credit, he is really kind and good with my boys. Thanks for the reminder, Bridget. :)

I'm so not a smooshy lovey dovey person (is anyone surprised?) so I have nothing to add. I save the smooshy stuff for private. I still stick with my first comment in the thread. :D

he has big feet

oh and he makes me laugh, is super gentle when need be, great with my kids, etc. I remember he was complaining that Megan was leaving trash all over the computer desk one night. The next day when she was on it he came over to her with a bucket and said, "Megan I got you a bucket so now it will be easier to throw your gum wrappers and juice boxes away while you're on the computer!". She was so thrilled and the desk hasn't been messy since. I love that he does things that way instead of yelling or demanding. :luv:

He can bring buckets and bags. The man has a bag fetish I think. There's like no more room for anymore bags! I mean the plastic ones you get from the grocery store (unless you're all green and you get paper). The buckets are the empty kitty litter buckets. We buy it in bulk and when it's empty he throws a bag in it and voila, trash bucket.

I gave up a while ago with it. Nothing much matches in this house anymore so why not have a few free buckets. lol

Hahahah he sounds like my dad! My dad saves any sort of possibly reuseable container...cool whip containers, sour cream containers, pb jars, etc.

Astarte,

Kind of besides the point, but... cool whip containers are awesome for storing CDs.

heehee

My husband is the greatest person for me, he handles everything, I am barely capable of even getting out of bed. I am really lucky, I hit the lotto with my husband.

lol i love your name...ganja girl... hahahahaha....

my father and his mom were neighbors when they were kids :D and my cousin and he went to high school together... we didn't really connect until 4 years ago though. i didn't really like him much back then. and he for sure didn't like me...(he thought i was a big b*tch lol), but 9 months later we reconnected, and then slowly but surely it turned into love. he told me he loved me, i said...that's nice. it was 6 months after that when i realized how deeply i loved him. and my love grows more and more each day. it has been 7 months since i have seen him.....i'm really having a hard time over this separation. i don't understand why USCIS can't rush things a bit more...why is it so damn hard to get all this going? i understand there's a lot of people and what not who are trying to bring loved ones here as well, but why can't spouses be a priority? it's so unfair. :(

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....
