Well my wife finally has an interview date for May 21st. However, I will have to come back home alone again. That is because she will have to stay in China until my stepson gets his interview soon. Hopefully by mid July the family will be home :dance::dance::dance::dance:

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Thats wonderful news especially after the long road you have had.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks for all the suport. The long journey started with it taking 8 months to get through VSC. Then it takes awhile to get through Chinese customs and get an interview. I finished NVC on 1/23/09 and interview is 5/21/09 and that is 4 months. However, if something finally needs to go right that is to get the PINK!!!!
