What should I do? Will this affect my visa approval?

Contact the embassy and correct the error.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Hello,

I don't know if for you it's totally different, but the number for my N0A2 was something like A0....... and my visa A............., they skipped the ''0'' on my visa, but for my papers i use this one on my NOA2-

And I received my green card.

Maybe your two numbers are totally different, it's a good thing to contact your embassy.

Good luck

I think is a typo graphical error. one digit in the middle ,number 7 changed to number 1. I read threads that it happened to them too when they are already in the States. Sometimes the immigration officer in POE made mistakes in writing them too.

Im thinking if the embassy made a typograhpical error in printing my visa. I'm wondering how long will they pend my visa for correcting my A#.
