So this is how it feels like :D

"Happy" would be an understatement. It's a feeling of euphoria (not that I know how it really feels like being high haha)

Finger scanning sucked big-time. My left hand was not participating. I made a point not to put on lotion but then my hands were sweaty (they usually arent) I was nervous as hell, can you blame me? :P

The pre-screener was not so friendly. She greeted me back with a good morning but she hardly smiled. Anyhow, she asked me how we met and the word "introduced" came out of my mouth and she was quick to say "You were introduced??" Ugh, i knew that was a wrong move but then I was not going to lie or make up another story.lol

Interview took no more than 5 minutes. The consul asked me how we met, how he ended up being in the Philippines in the first place and what he does for a living. There was no trick question whatsoever, he has my files - he would glance at them once in a while and ask me something. He asked in a confirmatory manner. Finally, he said "I have no more questions for you. Your visa is approved. Blah blah blah...."

This website has helped me a LOT. There were people who showed up that didn't know they were suppose to pay for a visa fee! They were asked to reschedule their interview.

Tips:

It is important to have all the forms filled out beforehand to avoid delay.

Take note of the number of forms you are suppose to bring. (2 copies of DS156, 1 DS156K etc...)

Answer only what is asked. Less talk, less mistake.

Don't get pissed if your fiance doesn't reply right away when u text him the good news. He's probably just sleeping! haha!

Pray. Pray. Pray.

Great! Thanks for the tips, as it's good to hear them over and over so they're reinforced in our minds. I only JUST read about the problems with fingerprints for the first time, yesterday. I will be SURE my fiance' knows to ASK, and be VERY sure they obtained good prints the FIRST time.

Moving on w/life
