Hello vj's , my concern is about the question # 33 , do u intend to study in the US? My answer is Yes! my fiance want me to finish my study. i know it is a good idea and coz education is important. Iam willing to finish my college studies. is it ok? im worried i might have a problem. i dunno maybe im just paranoid.pls help me what is the best answer? thank u for your time....

I got my visa approved and had no problem with the form with the "YES" answer. Although I already graduated college but I still want to upgrade my profession. It doesn't mean that when u file for K1 visa you will be forever on your K1 visa. People who were approved for K1 visa is expected and encouraged to marry. Of course, after marriage, what will u do? Life doesn't end up there...you need to plan for your future like studying or getting a job. I should say, put "YES" in that question if u plan to study and put " School Unknown" on the other blank.

hi, if i were you i wont risk it. i'd put NO because k1 visa's main purpose is for you to get there to get married within 90 days.

:thumbs:..... perhaps job is easier to say YES coz who doesnt want to help pitch in.....ohh well....

This form is used for many visas and some of the questions are not exactly applicable. Also an answer here is not carved in stone. You can say "yes, school unknown" you can say "no" and still go to school when you arrive or you can answer "NA, k-1 for permanent residency"

I would say YES. Just be honest.

K-1 TIMELINE:

05-11-2009: NOA1

05-20-2009: called the Military Help Line and requested for expedite

06-04-2009: NOA2

06-14-2009: NVC letter received in the mail

07-02-2009: Packet 4 received

08-27-2009: Interview - Visa approved!

09-03-2009: visa in hands.

09-20-2009: POE - Miami

09-21-2009: we got married!

AOS TIMELINE:

05-12-2010: NOA1

06-08-2010: Case transferred to CSC

06-21-2010: Biometrics
