I have a question.

I signed the Form G-325A and letter of intent on January 24th and mailed them to the US (to my fiance) on the same day but we had some problems with the mail and my fiance only got my documents last week. He mailed them anyways, even though the dates from mine and his documents are so far apart (my signed on January 24th and his on April 17th). I wonder if it's going to be a problem? The forms are still up to date and since I didn't find any topic about his, I thought I would ask. Thanks in advance!

I doubt it would be a problem. I'm pretty sure our dates were different also. Not as long as yours, but maybe a few weeks though.

The bigger problem is that you plan on getting married in Brazil in July. If you do it, your K1 won't be valid.

good eye there!

Yes, a K1 is for the foreign person to enter the US as a fiance. then get married in US. You cant get married in Brazil and then return to the US b/c the Brazilian will not be a fiance anymore, but a spouse. the K1 is for entry into the US as an unmarried person only.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jere. 29:11

I signed my documents last September 2008 and my fiance was only able to sign his last month.

I don`t think that will be a problem.

Good luck to you ;)
