My Fiance lives in Scotland and we will be filing the K1 visa application hopefully by June. Assuming it only takes 6 months this puts our marriage around Christmas time :) What I am really hoping for though is that he can visit the US for a couple months sometime during these 6 months while the K1 is being processed. Does anyone know if this is possible??

Thank you for your help!

Yes. My UK fiance had no problem, neither did I when i went to visit him (both during K1 process). Your fiance might want to bring a letter from work stating when he will be returning, n a copy of his return ticket too. When i went there, they asked me what my trip was for, i said to visit. He said 'anyone in particular'? So i told them my fiance, he asked me wen i was returning to work and if i had a copy of my return ticket..i had nothing, but he let me through. He should be fine, ppl do it all the time, but proof that he is returning back to the UK (has ties) are good to have.

I visited my husband (then fiance) about 6 weeks after filing the K1. You'll get the "stern" lecture about NOT getting married on the visa waiver, but they're normally pretty cool so long as you are 100% clear that you will be returning to the UK after your visit to wait out the K1 processing. :)
