I don't think so that you can use some other number if regarding visa follow-up you really need to use the toll free number ...good luck!!!

There is another extension, 5184, but that belonged to grace who is no longer there and even as recently as today when I called it does not ring, just goes directly to a message saying call again later.

Sis! This is a cheaper way to get hold of the USEM and ask regarding ur query and status of ur case. If u manage to get connected give them right away your case number. They can actually tell you whats going on with ur papers. Have ur hubby call them in that line aswell to make a follow up. Goodluck

Your best chabce to get through is to call right as they open at 7:30 AM. This line is for USC, so you may or may not get an answer. But, it does not hurt to try.
