It wasn't very stressful at all. They took our Mystery Envelope, shuffled some papers, stamped Russ's passport, and we were on our way in about twenty minutes. Everyone was friendly, particularly for two in the morning!

Thats good to hear :) And 20 minutes? thats not bad, he will land at JFK at 4pm, so i dunno how busy it will be, i never been there myself. He has a 4 hour layover, hes gotta get thru customs, recheck his bags and find his terminal in that time. Hes never flown before, and the only time hes been in the airport was when hed pick me up in Bucharest, so hes worried he wont find anything or make his next flight. he will do fine :)

No drama whatsoever. Henry was out in about 20 minutes as well. Our officer was new and I had to help him because he had no idea what a K3 was. But I think they are all familiar with K1. Ed should have no trouble.

Oh Henry recently took a trip home on his K3 visa and on his return he was out in about 10 minutes. The officer only asked him one question, whether Elizabeth was his wife. And that was it.

I hope he'll be fine! I'm sure it will go swimmingly and he'll be back in your arms in no time.

So glad things worked out.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!
