Can someone please tell me whethter DS-230 form itself will contain a barcode?? I am trying to see if it is ok for us to have it ready before getting the IV bill PAID status.

yes! You can get DS-230 ready before you pay IV bill.

Absolutely you can prepare it ahead of time. Once you pay the IV fee online and it has been registered as PAID you will then be able to print off a barcoded cover sheet. This sheet is included with the completed forms to be mailed to NVC. Good luck. :thumbs:
