K3 Interview Scheduled, but papers not sent to NVC yet?

I'm a little confused. I have not sent in the Affidavit of Support papers yet or the IV Package (my wife's Mexican passport renewal is taking forever!) to the NVC. However, we received an interview date for May 8th in Juarez. Is there enough time if I were to send the paperwork to NVC with the interview only 3 weeks away? Should I try to reschedule the interview date? I was under the impression the interview would not have been schedule until all the paperwork had been sent to NVC.

Can anyone advise me on my situation?

03/22/2009 - IV Bill Generated

03/23/2009 - Pay IV Bill

03/27/2009 - IV Bill Show as PAID

xx/xx/2009 - Mailed I-864 Package

xx/xx/2009 - I-864 Package Delivered to NVC

The interview is for your K3 and doesn't require paperwork to NVC. The paperwork is for the CR-1.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
