Recently I filed an I-90 for my wifes Green Card where her birthday was wrong. Has anyone had recent experience with the actual timeline on this. When you call the USCIS they say 6 months. We plan to travel out of the country the end of May for our Honeymoon and we are getting very worried now.

Comments : New Problemss but not too serious. Green Card came with the wrong Birthday and had to file I-90. We are told that it will take 6 months to replace the card.

Yes it can and does often take 6 months + You need to make a infopass appointment at your local office, take the NOA1 from the I-90 and ask for a I-551 stamp in your wife's passport. That will act as a temp greencard and allow her to work and international travel until the new greencard arrives.

It really ranges from one to over six months. Four is to be expected according to the timelines, but it seems they give themselves extra two months by updating the site with information that is two months old (February 28th). When I called USCIS before I applied, the guy told me it would take a month :no:

I ain't callin' no more.
