9/17/08 - I-751 received by VSC

10/30/08 - biometrics

3/5/09 - transfer to CSC

4/6/09 - approval recieved by mail dated 4/2/09

4/21/09 - 'card in process' letter received by mail dated 4/16/09

5/8/09 - GC arrived in mail:)

12/23/11 - N-400 sent

4/21/12 - Citizenship interview

5/30/12 - Oath!

10/10/12 - I-130 for parents received at Chicago lock box

1/9/13 - I-130 approved, case forwarded to NVC

2/7/13 - AOS fee e-mail request

What does everyone's online status say? Mine still says case received and pending...

I guess we'll be in this thread now too...our case was approved 4/20 at CSC, approval letter received 4/25. The online status has not been updated nor have there been any touches. Good luck everybody hope you get something in the mail soon!!

Ok, I got approved e mail on 04/22/09 and the actual letter on the mail today anda email saying they sent me the approval notice......Did anyone have anything like this?????? I am witing for my green card to apply for my citizenship.

I'd like to point out that this thread is CSC only. If you're at VSC, like you, maryces21, you're not gonna experience any delays.

!!!!!!!?!?!?!!?!?!111 !!!!1!1!

Anyway, has anyone gotten a green card from CSC within a month? two months?

O.K. I didn't really expect to find GC in my mail box today, but then I decided to call 1-800-375-5283 "information" line and to inquire why the case status is still showing pending and what's going on.

After 20 minutes of different annoying options, and no option to talk to a live person, it was already 6PM and too late to talk to anyone even if I knew what magic option to chose to actually talk to someone.

Does anyone know how to get around to talk to someone on the phone?

hehe... the secret to get through the maze is 123. But even if you get through, the people who first answer the phone won't be able to tell you anything more than you already know, that means if your online status said the case is still pending, then they'll not tell you that it's approved. Also, they'll only tell you to set up infopass online then go to your local office, they'll say your local office will be able to tell you more. At least those are my experience. Hope yours will be better! :star:

8/23/2010 - Passed interview, was informed that next oath date is 9/22/2010 and oath letter will come in the mail

Thank you for your reply. I think I will wait till 60 days is up, and if I don't get the GC in the meantime, I will go for an infopass appointment. That wasn't very pleasant last time I went to get I-551 stamp in my passport. I was almost in tears after two minutes, but managed to keep my cool, got my stamp and got out.

On April 28, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

So CSC ordered card production after 26 days of approval date, then allow 30 days for the card to be mailed, well... still expected to be within 60 days from approval date, can't really say CSC did anything out of the line, but sure it's making people anxious during the wait time. Good Luck All!
