Haha, I guess it depends on your frame of reference....I am comparing to other developed western countries (Aus, NZ, Canada, UK, West Europe).

I used to buy birth control in Brazil in bulk and bring it back with me. Eventually I decided I needed to get a prescription from the U.S. sinc we live here now.

So if you go to PP, I suggest taking your BC with you to the doctor to see if s/he can give you the same prescription, or something similar. The doctor did that for me and said she'd done it before for a cirque de soleil performer.

Condoms are an alternative if you don't mind for a couple months (however long it will be). My BC with insurance is only $8/month.

This is such a useful topic and I'd actually forgotten about asking this kinda stuff. I am planning to get as much of the pill in my suitcase as the doctor will give me. I am so scared about having to pay for my health in the USA. Birth control should be completely free throughout the whole world and that includes condoms. Man, kids here use condoms as water balloons coz they are free and so easy to obtain. No need for a shoplifting criminal record!

They have adulterous sex 1x/month in the missionary position with the lights off and no noise. Thereby maintaining their adulterous status, while still being sexually uptight.
