Hello VJ

I got today the confirmation by email of the choice of agent, they accept the email i sent April 3.

The AOS fees are paid last week and it shows paid now.

i just wanna be sure of some stuff i am confused about:

1/ if we must wait for the NVC to send us the AOS form to file it or we can download it online and finish it.

2/ Without wait for NVC to send me the DS230, can i finish part one and sign and send it to my baby so when she pay the invoice she will have all the docs she need in her hands to accelerate the processing and send the package.

3/ Do she must sent the AOS and DS230 packages together or separatly?

4/ for those who filled those forms before, whats the difference between the forms we can download online and the forms will send (DS230 and I864)???? for the choice of agent i saw the form with the data code bar and my name and case #

Thanks

Are you following any shortcut or guide from Visa Journey?

This is a very good guide, and it will answer all your questions: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

And just so you know there is no difference between the forms, I think the DS 3032 is the only one that comes with a bar code, but if you read that Guide you can make your own barcode and send with the form, that's what I did and it worked out fine. But anyway you don't need that anymore, the rest of the forms you will need you can download from the travel state.gov site, they usually have the last updated forms.

If you read that guide I linked you will see how we do to send the forms. :)

Good luck. :)

now that you have the DS3032 accepted you can download the I-864 and DS-230 and fill them out.

so for question 1., no you don't have to wait on the forms from NVC. You can download both and fill them out and collect all the documents needed for both.

2. Use the download version of the DS230 and remember when you gather the documents you need originals 1 set and photo copies 1 set.

3. the Aos and ds230 can be mailed together and actually that's the best way to do it so you don't get a false RFE. Once both fees are paid and show paid online you can print the cover sheets from that site and put with each package. Make sure you write your case number on the upper right corner of every sheet so if something gets seperated they can get it back to your file.

4.There is no difference except they ones NVC sends has your barcode. but when you print the cover sheets for the bill payments they have the bar code also. My wife and I never waited for any forms to be sent from NVC and we had no problems and got thru NVC in 15 days. Actually we had our case complete with NVC before her DS3032 even arrived from NVC.

Good luck on the NVC journey and stick to the short cuts you will fly thru NVC.

hey MMW. So there is no need for me to wait for those forms from the NVC? I can just download them, fill them out and send it over to my husband in the US? He'll hold on to them till the choice of agent email is accepted. And he can print off the bar coded cover sheet, write our case # on top of every sheet and we'd be good to go? The form itself doesn't need barcodes?

Sorry to sound like a dense 6 year old -- I just want to make sure I got everything correct.
