For those of you who chimed in, I just wanted to give you a quick update. My wife received her passport/visa this afternoon!!

Exactly two weeks from the interview date. The visa was approved on the 8th and we received it today. I blame the holiday weekend for the delay.

I don't know if they even utilized the co-sponsor info they "requested", at this point I don't care as long as she has her passport. She's set to be with us Sunday :dance: :dance:

You know how they say everything happens for a reason? Well it must be true for had this not have happened, I wouldn't have meet all of you fantastic people. :blush:

Thank you to everyone...may your journey be an interesting one :innocent:

I'll be sure to visit the site frequently...I'm so excited!

You were right! I got notification via email from Canadapost that our Xpresspost mailer was accepted by the post office at 10:01 today... so I am thinking he should get it tomorrow! We don't know if he is approved or not, but are hoping he is! We will know either way soon!
