Married but filed a K1 visa

This is too risky... really... even if your friend knows somebody in NSO to give her a 'fixed' CENOMAR, but what if the embassy will double check it to the NSO?.. tsk! tsk!... Does the embassy double check these NSO papers to NSO? If so she'll get in trouble.

I would agree with what the other people said here.. just cancel the K-1 and start all over again for the K-3. Better wait a few more months than to wait 10 years, or never....

yes i think she can do that.. but pray not to check it by the co on the nso... :star: i know someone did this b4 and now she is in belgium... living happily with her hubby....

Dude,

Print out this entire thread and have the husband take it to his attorney.

EITHER you have the facts mixed up - or - this couple is very close to potentially committing immigration fraud with unknown consequences.

Maybe it is a K-3 married visa - that uses form 129F which is the same as the K-1 visa.

IF it is a K-1 visa and they are married, the lawyer is guilty of malpractice - BIG PROBLEM

DO NOT GO FORWARD - FORCE A RE-EXAMINATION OF THE FACTS. IF IT IS A K-1 and they are legally married then the K-1 MUST be cancelled and they must reapply with a I-130 (C/R Visa) (plus a K-3 if they are so inclined).

Good luck to them.

Hello I am just curious where they get there lawyer?? PHIL or USA??

Take the consequences if ever they don't want to cancel there K1.

Before u get married here in the phil. they required the cenomar right?? So if ever she still had a copy she can show that

during her interview..

When they get married??

If ever she want the original CENOMAR, she need to get at NSO but sorry to say it will appear on her CENOMAR

like this...

BE ADVISED THAT THE SEARCH FOR THE NAME OF Bla bla bla ALLEGED TO HAVE BEE BORN bla bla bla In Bla bla bla to Bla bla bla and Bla bla bla Yielded one MOST LIKELY MATCHES IN OUR NATIONAL INDICES OF MARRIAGE..

1. DATE OF MARRIAGE ; bLA BLA

PLACE OF MARRIAGE: bLA BLA

NAME OF THE BRIDE / GROOM

THIS CERTIFICATION IS BASED ON THE RECORD OF 19 BLA BLA MARRIAGE ENROLLED IN THE DATEBASE AS OF BLA BLA..

I think it will take 6 months before they will registered it in NSO.. if i am not mistaken..

Because mine it will take 2 months but i did an electronic endorsement that is why it takes 2 months only.

well good luck.. hope everything went to her interview..

Hope she will not get nervous during the interview

god bless..

yes i agree with u.. bcoz sometimes really embassy is not verifying docs. i think they do that if the co is not satisfied with the docs. u presented.. bcoz in my experineced here in our bank lots of people here in my place are asking our bank to gave them an imaginary account and they can passed the interview without the embassy inquiring about the applicant's account from us... and one thing i know is that some fil. do legal papers from the lto stating they have cars.. but the truth is they dont have... :star:
