More than likely there will not be an interview for I-751. I-751 can take up to a year to process.

More:

You may or may not be called for an interview after you submit this form. Procedures have been in flux for the past year or so regarding biometrics collections (fingerprints, and photo) and you may get a letter sending you to your DO or ASC for this service--this is not an interview. Simply follow the instructions that YOU receive from USCIS and don't worry too much about other people's situations. Yours is the one that counts for you. If you are selected for an interview, it will be at your local USCIS office, not at the service center. Most typically, you have already had a biometrics appointment before your notice of approval, and your new Green Card will be mailed to you. However, you should follow all directions received from USCIS. I-751 cases are generally completed in 6-12 months, currently.

My wife just recently got her GC fron CSC for the I-751. It took about 1 month from bto appointment until GC in hand. I've seen faster from CSC. Last one took 45 days from start to finish!

VSC has been taking up to a year+

Hi a1angied,

Thanks for updating your timeline it helps other VJ members in assisting you better. You can do an early biometric on the weekend if you like, no harm there. Read the post below.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=182854&hl=

Since your case is at CSC I would say you are very lucky, from what i have seen is that after you have done biometric appointment it can take 1 to 2 months at CSC now a days, so I would say end of May or Mid June you will hear some good news.

Good Luck.
