I married my husband who lives in jordan in july 2005- i submiited the I130 petition through attorney and USCIS received it September 2005- Well we have not heard anything yet with an approval. I wrote to USCIS and they wrote letter back stating that the petition is still being processed and if we dont hear anything in 6 months to please contact them again. Well if we wait another six months- it will be a year and a half without hearing anything. Is there anything we can do to speed this up?? SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP US

TOTAL STORY FROM THE BEGINNING IN PROFILE!

06/15/06 - Now ..... he wants to be alone. What a coincidence, being as he just got here 10/05. He used me to get a visa. He's confided in two others here that his intentions were to get here and make me tired of him. He never intended to stay married, from the beginning of his PLAN. He's here with a 10 year residency (mistake on gov't part). He did well. Now let's see if I can do as well. You never know, [they] may correct the problem they made. ;D

His name is Mohamed Abdalla Abd El Samie Youssef, (aka AMIR), from Helwan (15 May City), Cairo, Egypt. He is currently residing in Henderson, NV ..... working as a cook in a large resort hotel. He is redheaded, fair, hazel eyes, 5'8", 160#. If anyone knows him or his family or anyone about to be involved with him, be warned that he is NOT a "man" of good character.

OH MY GOD, JENN! Oh how heartbreaking. I read your post by following the link. I am so sorry. I think all of us have that fear here. My God! What could I say to take away that pain in your heart as of now? Nothing. Nothing would console u except to find peace with God. God Bless YOu!

Regarding the I130 our of the California Center, Ihave no clue what's going on there. I have been waiting for quite sometime now, as it was approved on April 12, 2006. Possibly they wish to investigate from there? Don't really know. Alll I know is that I never received the approval letter in the mail, only online and that my file has not been received by the National Visa Center. I did file the K3 and my husband will be doing his interview in August, 2006. Otherwise, I have no answers further.

Wow that's a realllyyyyyy long wait :( Sorry to hear of your extended delay. I don't think there's much that can be done to speed things up. We have quite a few members processing through Amman -- maybe one of them can advise you. Please come on down the the Middle East/North Africa discussion in VJ's Regional Forums -- http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=97

Wishing you all the best in your visa journey.
