Today was our K3 interview, the Embassy received our CR1 filed approximately a week prior. We made no contact with the embassy concerning the so called switch we simply showed up for our K-3, with everything prepared as if for the K-3 and they knew to issue us the CR1. In fact we had yet to pay the K-3 fee (because of post office being closed) and so we said upon arrival this was the case. We went to the post office after turning in our documents to pay the fee and there a U.S. embassy worker shows up and tells us not to pay, our CR1 file is there and we would be interviewed for that.

Thanks to everyone on VJ for the help.

Thanks to Ling from the infamous LingChe guide who is the one who suggested we go to the embassy with no prior communication.

Best of luck to everyone still processing...

Blessings,

Noi
