I have the same situation. I will wait for another month to see how it goes.

Good luck and keep us updated!

I am having the same issue. Didn't get NOA2 for both my K3 and I-130 application. Came to know that my applications were approved when got letter from NVC about my K3 being sent to Embassy. This sucks. :(

Hey everybody, I follow this thread with a vital interest as me and my Fiance also haven't received NOA2 but we got NVC letter and packet 3 from the embassy. We called the CSC last week and they said that they mailed it out on March 27th. Like usual, a lady on a phone advised to wait 30 days and call them back if we still do not receive anything and are interested in getting the replacement. It seems that there are at least a couple of people whose NOA2s were sent around 26th or 27th of March and haven't been delivered, all this looks at least strange. Maybe, if we can write a common letter to the CSC explaining that the problem with delivery of their notices sent at the end of March 09, concerns at least a few people, asking them at the same time to scrutinize the process of sending them and see if there was some error or something.

Peace,

Fiszka

Ours was dated back from 23rd sept 08 so they have had more than their alotted 30 days

I have come to one conclussion though the helpline people must only have access to the same online system that we have with only the extra ability to send service requests they have absolutly no info or help really to offer half the time and has me begging the question what is the point?

If you don't submit it then you will need an I-130 with $355 fee so best to include.

http://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/adjustin...e-th-65749.html second attempt with answer that seems to support kritkrit but then it also looks like hes suggesting that the noa2 is not needed as visa superseeds it. then maybe i am reading his answer wrong.

The application for adjustment of status need not be filed within 90 days. Rather, the marriage must occur within 90 days. And, per your post, it has. I would suggest sending the copy of the passport page with the admission stamp, and the actual copy of the visa in your wife's passport. That she was able to enter the U.S. on the approved visa is the best evidence of the underlying K-1 approval. Your attorney should know this.

okm i am freaking out now. we just called and the guy was addement that we were not approved and didn't get it. finally what he told us to do was the i-485 and ead form but also i-130 (petition for alien resident. and the guy claims it will cost us $1010 total. but there is no i-130 in the guides surly that will be an additional cost?

and how can we petition me as his wife when we already petitioned me as his fiance and i came in as k1.

hes confused were confused the whole thing is wacko. i think he thought we were lying that we got the k1 because he kept asking for verification of country of my birth and trying to say but she can enter the usa without a visa and we haven't been approved. uggh. why do we need an i-130??? an is he lying about the cost if filed in conjunction with the i-485 and ead?

Did you call the Mis-information line?

If so, just ignore them. If I were in your shoes I'd do what Krikit did.

Yes but we got transfered up a level they are also apparently launching an investigation but it will take two months. We are going to do what krit krit did. But we wanted a date to reference that we tried

Can you tell me what did Krit do? I called USCIS today and, as expected, they asked me throw $400 to get a duplicate which I am not gonna do.

I am wondering at what point of time does the paper copy of NOA2 come into use? I am a USC and I filed the I130 application for my mom. She is in China at the moment.
