Has anyone had luck with CSC in approval of their I-751 application that was jointly filed in October of 2008... ?

I think most of the CSC cases of last year have been approved. I think you might hear something from them in mid or end of may.

My guess is that those cases filed last at CSC who haven't been approved when get higher priorty after CSC clears VSC transferred

case load June - Sept/Oct 2008. So if you don't hear anything by mid or end of may contact a senator/congressman/ombudsman.

Good Luck

Hi, thanks a lot for your input. Greatly appreciate it. By the way, do you think that since it has now taken such a long time, that they still could send me an RFE or even schedule an interview... ? (I believe I have provided sufficient evidence) Your answer on this will be greatly appreciated as well...

Or do you think that they will straight a way approve me in May... ?

That's to long. Call your senator and have them check on why it's taking so long. I had to as ours was over due also. Senator got it moving!

Have you done biometrics?

No one can tell for sure. Yes, there is still chance that they can send RFE or interview even if you have submitted drowning evidence, please understand that some RFE or interview are based on quality control lucky draw, sometimes too perfect is also a sign of fraud. Sorry I can't tell you the percentage of quality control as our government is not transparent enough. But here's a good luck to you. :star:

Like jasminelily said, no one can tell you for sure. Wish we were fortune tellers and could make people at ease so that their 6 months to 12 months are not gone in worrying about and stressing out about their case which can either be their pass to Naturalization or worse (God forbid) can cause deportation and thats why most folks worry, coz it's borderline case, either you are fully in or fully out, nothing in between.

So the timeline i mentioned before, i.e. for your case end of May, begining of June 2009 from my guess and observation is, when you will get hear something. The reason is because if you call senator/congressman right now, they might not help you coz it's not 6 months yet and you are still under CSC's processing time frame.

About getting RFE if you think you sent sufficient documents then you should fine. RFE are mostly for I-751 waviver (divorces cases) and others who didn't submit minimu requirement document or USCIS lost their documents.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the show :).
