WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY DON'T OPEN THE BROWN EMBASSY ENVELOPE AT POE

Hi All

I went true my port of entry they treated my envelope from the embassy like it was radio active

they did not open it, did not do anything with it

Now i am confused

what am i suppose to do

I have no clue what is in that envelope

Does anybody know the contents

The mysterious contents is essentially everything you've submitted up to this point in your process (in other words, you've likely seen everything in it already). There's nothing for a CBP officer to do with your envelope except to take it from you.

My first POE was Aruba, US immirgration is there, you clear immigration before you get on the plane

What you should do is contact the international airport by you, talk to the immigration people and they will probably tell you to bring the package to them and they will process it. (USCIS is another place you can call)

All your paperwork for your visa is in the envelope. I don't know why Aruba didn't process it - perhaps they thought you would do when you arrived in CONUS?

(i'm still going over in my head, you left Aruba and that was your POE? crazy )

we have a us immigration and us customs

we go trough aruba first

then through security check point

then trough another security check point then pick up our bags

us immigration, us customs and you drop off your bags

then you go to your gate

all in the airport in Aruba

by the time i land in Houston i already pre cleared immigration so just pick up bags and leave

Yes. Once you go through US customs and immigration in Aruba, you are done. You don't need to do anything else.

But I would contact the nearest USCIS office to you, and see what they advise about the brown envelope.
