I love this site and there is sooo much good information, however, my fiance doesn't speak english and I feel like I don't know enough about this whole process to explain every little detail on the phone. I can check the website and read information but sometimes I don't even understand what is written (on account of I havent reached that point in my journey yet) and it's so much at once. Plus I'm also scared that even if I explain it on the phone he may not completely understand and a simple misunderstanding could compromise his visa process.

I was wondering if there was a translation somewhere of the whole visa process. Or if VJ has a page for it somewhere. I'm not asking for a strange language. My fiance speaks French. I just think that it would be easy for me if I could e-mail him a VJ page, or link, in French and he could read it and understand what he needs to do in the future regarding his visa. It would be so easy. Is anything like this available?

There's no section on VJ - We were lucky we found a German-related immigration site (although we're both fluent in each other's languages) - perhaps you could Google one for your fiancé's home country - never know.

Yeah, I figured I'd have to google it, but I still think it's a good idea if something like this was available.

I would not mind having the major items translated. The difficult part is that when changes are made, that all versions in different languages are updated.

There are people who access this site from all over the world and speak many languages fluently. There has got to be someone out there who can sacrifice some time to translate a page or two. I think it's something worth looking into.
