He's not a reporter. She's supposed to be a member of the Third Estate, and isn't acting like one. In order to maintain our freedom of speech, the press is Constitutionally protected in this country as an instrument of liberty. Now that they have become not just biased, but sycophantic advocates for the federal government, they have become dangerous, and must be exposed and stopped.

Thats the point.

In order to maintain our freedom of speech, the press is Constitutionally protected in this country as an instrument of liberty. MSNBC is just as biased as Fox News is. The difference is, Fox News still likes to think that they are presenting unbiased, and unfiltered news. Everyone hears what they want to.

Definitely. I started watching CNN a couple months ago because I got a little much of Fox and of course MSNBC is nothing more than a cheerleading section for Democrats. I come home at lunch here in California and I watch this guy Rick Sanchez. Holy #######. This guy is just as bad as Kieth Olberman and what really gets me is that he is basically up there by himself most of the time, maybe he has someone on the phone, but essentially he spews his opinions unchecked. Then there is this "no bias, no bull" bull. Nobody wants to just do the news anymore.

News or speculation? On the cable channels, even the major networks, and PBS for that matter, it's 99.9% speculation and brainwashing. Sick of all of it, just interested in the stuff that affects my life and still send letters to my government leaders, but that also appears to be a waste of my time. Least it helps to get it off my chest. Better than being quiet.

The problem isn't bias. It's when news organizations like Fox News use their platform as a propaganda machine and the most troubling part to me is that many people who watch Fox News fail to see the difference. There is a difference between reporting news and propaganda. For example, when ABC Morning News program dedicates a 10 minute segment on an upcoming Disney film, that is propaganda. Why? Because Disney is the parent company of ABC. Now if they dedicated 10 minutes of their programming on other films not made by Disney, then it's less likely to be self promotion, but still skeptical. So when the news anchors on Fox News are supposedly reporting the news of this tea party and adding comments like, "It is my duty as a patriot, to bring attention to this...," that is blatant propaganda. We all should be concerned when major news organizations are shoveling us propaganda and pretending it as if it is news. And even more concerned when so many of the masses consume it without even knowing the difference. Scary sh!t, IMO.
