Hi guys!!

We just got a letter today from USCIS that our case was transfered to California!! so it means, no Interview!!! Yeahh

Now I have a question, we were expecting an RFE because of the affidavit, well,our co-sponsor requested extesion to file taxes for 2008, so we just sent the W-2 for 2008 along with 2006 and 2007 tax returns...so we are expecting a RFE becuase of that, hopefully not..

now since our case was Transfered to California, do we still have a chance to get an RFE or it means that the case will be approved soon?

I mean, if we were supposed to get an RFE, shouldn't we get before they transfer it to california??

I believe you are correct that you shouldn't get an interview. I don't think you are out of the woods though for a RFE. It maybe somewhat looked at before being transferred, but I'm not sure how indepth the go into it.

From reading on VJ, you can get an RFE at any step until it's approved. If you were past getting RFE's then they would have looked at your case and made a decision. At least that's what I think.

You are closer to being approved!! Congrats on the transfer.

Just had my Biometrics done today!! yay!!! quick and easy...the place was empty!!

Now hopefully my I-765 will be available online since he scanned the receipt..

Got an update today from USCIS and my case is Now Pending at California service center...hopefully no RFE!!

hey folks..

I have been experiencing weird emails from USCIS..this morning I received 4..one said that my Case is now peding at the office which it was Transfered, and then I received another email saying that My case was transfered to California Service center,.Now I receveid an email saying that My case is now at the office which was Transferd and couple minutes ago, I got an Email saying Case trasnfered to California service center...it's all messed up!! it seens that I keep getting the same messages//has anyone had this problem as well?

also, My status for I-131 is not showing up online..any guesses??

BTW,I got a touch today on EAD!!!

Question: I have noticed that some filers are able to follow their applications online. How do you do this?

go Here. type in your Receipt Number (on your NOA1s) and congrats on your biometrics appointment! But don`t worry too much if your case doesn`t show online. My I-130 is still not showing.

We did receive the RFE letter May 15. It took an entire week to get to us in the mail!

It was for the I 864. They claimed they didn't have my 2008 tax return. It's odd because they didn't say they needed Jason's and we filed jointly in 2008 because we were married. So we printed off all of our 2008 tax stuff and the 864, wrote a new cover letter and mailed it Sat. morning. It should be there by now.

I'm hoping that it will get worked on by the end of the week maybe. Somewhat frustrated, but at least it was an easy fix.

Now back to the waiting.

That stinks! I wonder if it has anything to do with our current visa's being something besides a K1. I hope you hear something soon!

We checked online tracking our RFE letter was signed for yesterday so it should at least get opened today, but who knows how long it will sit on someone's desk before it gets looked at again.
