I am looking to file on about the 25th/26th! ...Although, I will only be married on the 23rd is that a bad thing? Will it put us at a disadvantage? We just decided to actually go through with this not long ago and my tourist status expires on the 17th of next month so we don't want to waste anytime.

Congrats Aloe! I don't think it's a bad thing at all as long as you have the evidence to prove a marriage. I would be filling out the paperwork now and gathering everything you need.

Coming to join you April filers!!!

I was ready to send my stuff in minus my medical stuff but my doctor got sick or something and had to cancel the appointment so now

I won't until next week!

I am worried about my proof though. Our landlord won't add me to the lease until it's up in september. Said she can't change it until then.

She also won't sign something saying I live here, but I do have lots of mail with my name/addy on it.

Other issue is that we have no creditcards (we just got out of debt!) or a cell phone and the car insurance/cable won't add my name until

I get my snn! So We really only have the hydro, health insurance,life insurance and bank statement/letters.

You guys think that'll be okay?

I also have 7 letters from family/friends about our relationship.

Welcome Levnd! Your name on the lease would be good. I would include as much as you can. The sworn letters are good. You can also continue to gather evidence while you wait for your interview and once it passes when you have the conditions lifted in 2 years you can then show you've got more evidence. I'm not sure if the gym membership is good enough or not.

Can I ask which vaccinations did you have to have. I know there is a list on there but some are recommended for people ages 65+ or were only for children under the age of 5. Were you required to get those vaccinations or were you not?

If anyone would be so kind as to share which vaccines they have had particularly if you hadn't had everything on the list?

Hi, I filed for AOS on the 6th April, so far have recieved NOA 1's for I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765. I have my biometrics appointment on May 14th! Can't wait to get my EAD so I can finally start working!

04/06/09- AOS sent

04/17/09- NOA#1 (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

04/20/09- Biometrics appointment (I-485 & I-765)

They cashed my check yesterday!! YAY!!!! Tomorrow my I94 will expired so I feel so much better about it!!! I don't have NOA1 in my mail box yet but I printed a copy of the check from my bank website so if somebody will inquire me about anything I can showed I already apply for AOS!

My husband had MMR, Tetanus, and a TB test already. The only one they required him to get was varicella (chicken pox). He is in his 30s.
