We had some good news yesterday. We received a letter for the interview. It's July 28th.

Still nothing on the EAD and AP. Is it unusual to get the interview letter before the EAD and AP?

Awesome!!!

No, I don`t think it`s too unusual to get an interview letter before EAD card. That`s in fact what happened to us! It is also possible that USCIS just isn`t good at updating their system (which we all know is true). So don`t be surprised if you get your EAD card in the mail next week without any email from CRIS! Which I actually believe might be the case. )))

So, hang in there!!! And keep us updated!!!!

Another April AOS filer here! Here's whats happening with me -

USCIS received my I-130/I-485/EAD/AP paperwork on April 20, my notice date is April 24.

I then received the NOA's on April 27.

AOS was touched on April 30, and then did my biometrics on May 4 ( I went a week earlier then scheduled - they let me in with no problems!).

Then on June 5 I received NOA2 for my AOS advising of my interview date August 4! woohoo!

And like the previous posts above, I too also received this letter BEFORE my EAD and AP. I was freakin' out but as far as I can see it looks normal?!!? Thank goodness yesterday I get the emails advising that both are approved! woop woop! Finally!

Just checked today and apparently USCIS "received" my response to their Request For Initial Evidence (2008 Tax Return) on June 11...several days after they actually received it in the mail. Guess that's an indication of how long it takes for correspondence to make it to where it needs to be! Well, hopefully that's the last RFE we get - I need my EAD ASAP! I have been offered a job and lucky for me they are willing to wait until I receive it Unfortunately the RFE letter indicated that my EAD will be processed 90 days from the date they receive my evidence (i.e. June 11)...but I am praying that they can process it much quicker than that!

The RFE stalled our case about 2 weeks. We had an email for EAD and AP card production ordered!!

It was about 3 weeks after our case began processing again.

Good news! We're back on track now, after the RFE that took half an eternity to get to us. My husband has his biometrics appointment scheduled for July 10.

thanks everybody for all the info.i check my case status online today and im so suprise and i cant believe it coz it says current status card production i got approved today..everyone here in vj thanks a lot..those who got approved Congrats!! and those who are still waiting WISH YOU LUCK and be patience..see u all in removing conditions..

I also got my AP in the mail yesterday and today I got a 2nd email saying my EAD card production had been ordered. Still waiting for an interview letter....

Congrats to everyone for their news! Good news for me too! I received my interview appointment letter today!! Scheduled for July 21. So exciting! Still waiting on word about EAD and AP...hoping that news will be soon.

Oh my GOSH! After I submitted my reply above, I checked my EAD and AP status online and it says that approval notices were sent on June 16!! Would this be my actual EAD? Like, once I receive that approval notice, am I authorized to work or is there an actual card I need to wait for (I see people writing about "card production ordered"). I have a job lined up that I'd really like to start!

Congrats on the good news! I think you do get to EAD emails. One when the card is ordered and the second when they are mailing it. I think both emails are the exact same. That's what we experienced. I got the email on June 12 and another today. I don't think you will get a letter, it will be the card. You should be able to start work soon.
