It usually takes 2 weeks. That's how long I waited.

in my case it took 2 months to wait. i went back to ssa office and asked why.

the lady assigned replied me that ITS CLERICAL ERROR. grrrrrrr i was pissed

its not my fault its their fault. they put wrong date in my bday so that explains why

my card is delayed.

i filed nov 22 i rcvd it late jan 2009.

so just wait. you can have your ss card soon.

No set time to process an SSN application. You need to go back into the SSA office to find out what is going on.

I would assume a secondary electronic verification request was needed, so you need to find out if it was done and has a response been received. If the response was a request to see a copy of your I-94, was it along with Form G-845 sent for manual verification.

It usually takes 2 weeks. That's how long I waited.

That's not how long it usually takes. That's how long yours took.

My husband just applied for SSC too, and it only took 2 weeks. Thats why I said it usually take 2 weeks. But then again I guess it's a case to case basis.
