New, Have Questions DCF London

I sent in the I-130 for my husband on the 8th of April, and today the credit card was charged and I received an email saying they received the petition. As of two days ago, they are processing the 16th of March. Does anyone know if this is the date for the earliest or latest petition they are working on? And how long does it normally take to get told if you are approved? We have everything ready for the next step, I was just trying to find out what experience others are having lately with London and getting approved.

Hi there! The date on the London website is the date of the latest application filed -- so if it's March 16th, and you filed on March 14th you're fine; if you filed on March 18th, they're almost at your application. Damn, they're approving them fast these days! When my husband and I did DCF 2 years ago, the delay was 3 months between charging the card and NOA2.

Generally, after they've processed your I-130, you will hear within a few days whether it has been approved or you've been given an RFE. Good luck!

The whole process takes 3 - 6 months

As of today the London website has been updated to show that they are processing applications from 18th of March. Only two days. It seems like it is taking about 20 days to process applications for 2 days. At this rate, we should get approved in 600 days.
