How long to wait after interview?

I'm sure this has been asked many times here, but I can't find the posts.

How long does a person have to wait for the K-1 stamp after the interview? We are scheduling a vacation (not to the US) soon after the interview, and I'm wondering if we could plan on my fiance leaving Moscow the day after her interview.

What can a person reasonably expect?

I was always under the impression that they would stamp the passport on the spot if they approve you at the interview.

Please correct me if i'm wrong though, thats what I gathered from other peoples posts

You should probably ask this in the region specific to you filing. In the Philippines it can take anywhere from 3days to months after interview to get the actual visa a allowed to leave country.

Man, I wish it were like that in Jamaica. It takes about 7-10 days there.

In England, this is definitely NOT the case. They will keep your passport and mail it back to you. I'm not positive, but I don't think the visa is a stamp. My student visa to Japan (from US) was a sticker that took up a whole page...so I am guessing it might be something more like that, rather than a stamp?

To the OP...definitely ask in the Russia forum! Also, there is the possibility of AP after the interview..
