Ayyye, I was going to comment on the original topic but now!!

Ok still will...I have friends (a couple) who are really into the "tea party" things lately and I believe they went to one tonight in Tampa.

And I am registered Republican, even though I feel like I don't have a party, but I don't own any guns! And don't plan on it anytime in the near future(as of now, never). My daddy doesn't own any guns either. There are more of our kind out there too ya know. Not every "right" leaning person has guns!! :lol:

I felt a little bit bad about not going to ours--night school takes precedence. But after looking at who sponsored the parties, let's face it--they were just republican rallies.

Another funny thing, if we take a step back and look at what people were protesting, um, they were apparently protesting prez bush.

Until I see some honest rhetoric that looks back and looks forward, it is just politics.

I am amazed that the people that got the shaft from bush appear to be the ones who support these movements. Apparently they don't want their future lotto winnings taxed at the higher rate....
