Story

The saga of Kristy and Michael, the two (former) Domino's employees whose on-the-job shenanigans made it to YouTube earlier this week, continues. Now there are warrants out for their arrests, and Domino's says it plans to sue them. Seriously, if you work in the food industry and are nursing some grudges, just... try to hold them in until you can find a job better suited to you.

"The persons in question have not only been fired, they are now in police custody, charged with the felony of food tampering."

I thought they were teenagers - but ---

Kristy Lynn Hammonds, 31, and Michael Anthony Setzer, 32, turned themselves in to Catawba County authorities late Wednesday afternoon. They are charged with contaminating food. If convicted, they could spend four months to one year behind bars.

Hammonds and Setzer are being held in jail on $7,500 bond each. Their first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.

Hammonds, who also goes by the name Kristy Lynn Thompson, has a rap sheet that includes charges for communicating threats and making harassing phone calls. Those charges were ultimately dismissed. But Catawba County authorities did confirm that Hammonds is a registered sex offender from Alexander County.

Thank goodness!

I worked as a waitress when I was in college and videos like this scare people. Luckily these types of antics in my experience never happened, and hopefully people realize this is not a common occurence.
