My wife's K3 interview is coming up in a couple weeks. Im looking at airline ticket options, and I'm seeing that many people with a K3 are coming to U.S on one way tickets (even though K3 is a kind of non immigrant visa). I'm a little bit stubborn to believe anything until I see hard proof that she will be admissible on a one way. Anyone know where I could find that?

k3 is dual intent, its FAR different from what we usually think of as a "non immigrant" visa.

If we were talking about a visitor visa for example on a one way ticket..then yes there would be an issue im sure.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Ok, but U.S customs can be cruel to travelers from 3rd world countries. If they hassle her about having a one way, she should have some sort of article or something with legal backing to show that she is admissible on a one way ticket. I still cant find such thing. The Foreign Affairs manual is quite the tangle. Im trying to find a statement from U.S Customs. My stubbornness is getting the best of me.

The proof is in the pudding as they say - the airlines themselves will not sell a one-way ticket to the US to anyone without proper documentation/authorization (e.g., proper visa); They will also visually verify this proof before allowing a passenger to board the aircraft. To verify this - contact the airline of your choice.
