HELP ABOUT THE YELLOW ENVELOPE

PLS HELP ME... I NEED ADVICE ASAP.. WHEN YOU GUYS GAVE THE FAMOUS DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPES IN YOUR POE. SHOULD IT BE STILL IN CLEAR SEALED PLASTIC?? IAM CONFUSED.. I CANNOT RECALL IF MY PASSPORT WAS INSIDE THE CLEAR PLASTIC TOGETHER WITH THE YELLOW ENVELOPES WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED BY AIR 21. OR WAS THE PASSPORT OUTSIDE OF IT. ALTHOUGH I DIDNT OPEN THE YELLOW ENVELOPES BEC I KNOW ITS FORBIDDEN, IAM CONFUSED IF THE CLEARED PLASTIC IS NOT TO BE OPENED ASWELL. IF SO, CAN THERE BE A WAY FOR ME TO ASK THE USEM TO RESEAL IT WITH A PLASTIC. PLS HELP! I WAS SO EXCITED THAT I CANT RECALL IF MY PASSPORT WAS INSIDE THE SEALED PLASTIC OR NOT! IM SURE THIS MAY SOUND STUPID FOR SOME BUT I WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WONT BUST MY CHANCE. IM ALMOST THERE. PLSSSSSSSSS HELP

Wait a minute, so you don't have anything that's sealed?. All your docs are loose?. Cause my fiance got a big envelope, inside there were two envelopes, one with the passport and another one with the sealed mistery envelope.

Sounds like the clear plastic was keeping all of your items together.

If your passport was together in a bag that also contained the envelope then it is ok, and necessary, to get at your passport. The envelope remains sealed and you hand it over when you enter the US.

Actually i recieved a big plastic from the courier (AIR21) wherein inside theres this 2 sealed yellow envelopes that is enclosed in a clear sealed plastic together with my passport. It says DO NOT OPEN! i needed my passport inside the clear plastic so i opened it but didnt touched the 2 yellow envelopes. So i was wondering if thats ok? or should i need to get back at the embassy to have it resealed with a clear plastic again?

When I received the package from Delbros it was sealed with plastic and my passport was separated from the Sealed Yellow Envelope inside. This means that you can take your passport and don't touch the Sealed Yellow Envelope. You can reseal it with the plastic on your trip here so you can protect it. At my POE, I took it out of the plastic so the Immigration Officer won't have a hard time opening it. I hope this helps and calm you down as well Goodluck!
