It is VERY pretty!! :yes: I'm just going to sit here and look at it all day!

That's what I did! I expected it to be a boring stamp, but its all fancy and colorful! :lol:

huggle I couldn't resist. Where's the "u" in colourful. You're already converted. :rofl::rofl:

:lol: nice one! I find the U rather unnecessary... I've never understood why its there! Why do we put it there?! I blame the British.

That's what I did! I expected it to be a boring stamp, but its all fancy and colorful! :lol:

I have go say I was a bit disappointed by the visa "look". I already have two student visas in my passport and by reading you guys, I thought the K1 visa was super nice and different :) But it turned out to be the same sticker as my two previous ones :(

Although i love looking at it because it's valid, it's the long-time deserved and approved K1 and it says your fiance's name. I'm not going to use it before the end of July though...

My interview was on a Wednesday, my envelope was at the post office on Thursday, and I recieved it on Monday. Without the weekend it would have been 3 days.

We had our interview on tuesday (05/26) and were approved. Per the tracking info on the canadapost website, the packet was picked up in Montreal wednesday (05/27) and was recd in Toronto early thursday morning and out for delivery that same day. It's Saturday (05/30) and still no sign of the packet. It's been showing up as "out for delivery" for the past 2 days. We've called canadapost customer service twice yesterday but they have no idea why it's not being delivered and say we can't ask to pick it up ourselves at the local post office till they've attempted delivery at least once. They asked for us to contact the Consulate in Montreal and have them open a ticket so they can start an investigation. We had planned on driving to Buffalo today and are unable to now. Frustrating! Still hoping that it will be delivered next week but if doesn't show up unsure who to contact. Anyone else have a similar experience? Any ideas as to who we can contact if we don't get the packet next week?

Had the interview this past Thursday. Fortunately, I work close to the Consulate, and was able to pick it up the next day.

My wife had the interview on Tues., June 2, 2009. She just received the ExpressPost mailer with her passport and visa today!! Two days turnaround. She lives in Mississauga. Very cool!!

She's coming down on Monday - for good. :)

I FINALLY get to answer this poll!!! Hooray!! :)

Interview on Wednesday, visa delivered on Friday. I need to hide the envelope! I got a delivery notification at 9:43am saying it was delivered at 11:59am. Freaky Canada Post! It actually WAS delivered between like 11:55-11:59. I opened the door at 12:00 and it had been neatly placed on my front step! :)
