There have been book-length interviews with those who 'processed' prisoners in concentration camps and they show a disturbing lack of empathy and imagination, to say the least. Every society has such people. I imagine our job is to remember they exist and not let them gain power over us.

The police in my city are scared of Illegals Aliens.
