Here comes the Good news!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

My hubby just got a call from ISL USEM to submit his passport ASAP as his AP is in final review.I cudnt believe him and i thought he was joking . I am so GLAD n Thankful to Allah that it is finally over.

Short but yet painful 1 month n 10 days of AP.

Thanks for all the support n help i got from u Guys.....Thank u so much all for listening to my whinning n worries

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Yes, but my wife was here on the Visa waiver for three months while we were waiting and we went to the SSN office here to change here name. But they wouldn't give her the card yet because she wasn't "legal" yet. So once the Visa was approved and she arrived (POE), we went again and they prosessed her and we got it in less than two weeks. I give up in trying to figure out all the prosesses we have to go thru with this immigration stuff and just take it as it comes now. Sorry, but maybe because I work for the government too, I just give up on hoping that any of the government's processes will go any faster because it SHOULD. I keep trying at work, but there are so many hurdles and my legs are tired of trying to jump all of them. I have been just trying to go around them when I can. lol...

So it sounds like this June thread made it a 100% batting average. That is sooooo GREAT!!!! I'm happy for everyone, TOTALLY!!! And it is August already!!! Good luck to everyone on your quest to now get reunited. After all, that is what this is all about. Best wishes to all. And please, please, please work hard to make your marriages last forever. It will be a struggle, but I have read too many sad stories here on VJ and I hope our June thread will have none of that!!! Work at it everyone because it is not 50/50, it is 100/100!!! My hubby submitted his passport on Friday inshallah I will get it back in 2-3 weeks and probably will be together for Eid.This would be our first holiday together in 3.5 years of married life :)
