Ghetto...they didn't ask for any proof from my husband either...he went with e-mails, letters I sent him through regular mail, phone logs & more pictures. They didn't ask to see any of that. My husband even asked them in his interview...don't you want to see any of this stuff & the interviewer told him no, we have all we need right here. But its better to be overprepared & have what they as for than not to have anything...you know just in case.

You know...I have no idea what we have to do now with the CR-1 visa once hubby gets to the US. We have to adjust status???? Oh boy...here we go again!

By the way, hubby called Aramex this morning and they said they have his visa in Amman and he can pick it up in his city of Irbid, tomorrow morning at 9 am!!! So he plans to book a ticket for next Friday!! I am so excited!!!

congratulation Amanda

and wish u a good life together

ur Husband have CR-1 visa ...and so he doesnt need any adjustment ...

Adjustment are for ppl who already in USA or who are K1 filers ...

ur husband arrive ..get a two years conditional green card

before the expiring date of the card by 90 days ..he should file to REMOVE CONDITION

and as a result he gets a 10 years GC

and when its 3 years residceny with u he can file for citizenship , and then they take his GC and give him a citizenship certificate which in turn enable him to file to get a US passport and be exactly like u and the same right bla bla

Congratulations and my best wishes for a lovely good life together

and dont forget us in ur prayers :)

Ok, i got my passport with visa now.

As i arrived in USA - i will received my GC which is good for 2 years.

Before the expiration date (90 days) of my 2 year GC- I have to file for removal of condition so that I can get another GC which is good for 10 years.

AM I CORRECT?

And when i'm already staying in USA for 3 years - I can file for citizenship.. and i can get a naturalization certifcate. Am i correct again?

Do we have to pay any amount for all of this process?

I POSTED A QUESTION REGARDING THIS

After CR1... what's the next step??

Congratulations Wifey, Eca, Jiskat. It is surely turning out to be a great month!!!

So good luck to GheTToJaTTi and th3mo who are coming up next. Yes, my wife didn't have to present any additional evidence either, but it is better to have it than not. Why take a chance after all we went through already.

Anyway, she just got here on Friday. So in her passport, they put the visa that was good for six months, plus she had a sealed envelope she had to give to the people at immigration at the airport. She said it was really easy, but they asked her a bunch of questions there, seems like the questions that would have been asked at the interview, like where I work, things about where we met, when we got married, etc. But it was really quick. She landed a few minutes before 9am and she said she was out by 9:30 bags and all. I took off at 10 and am only 10 minutes away so she actually had to wait for me.

But anyway, in her passport they put in another stamp and dated it 2 years from yesterday, since she came on a CR-1 (married less then 2 years). And the paper she got from them had the instructions that we have to adjust status BEFORE the 2 years is up, but you cannot submit the paperwork until 90 days before that time. I think the form is a I-751. Yup, they sure got a racket going, but I guess that is homeland security for you. Not sure what the fee will be for that. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there. This one was long enough.

So good luck to all of you with interviews soon. Lets keep this 100% month of June going. (L)(L)(L)

Morning everyone ...

YES to all what u said ,,,

and to ur last Question ..is there something USCIS will do for u for free ? :D

and so ..all of these processes are not free ...

after two years and before the expiration or the 2nd Anniv of ur GC by 90 we file for removing condition to get the 10 years one (to remove conditions u file I-751 that cost a total of 545 $ beside u need to go to do ur biometric and probably another personal Interview with ur wife/Husband )

when 3 years ..u r eligible for Citizenship (you file N400 that cost 675 $) and u have English and civilization Exam to success and get ur certificate ....that require u 3 meetings ..first to take biometric , then the actual Interview , and last is the time u go to a cermony to have the Citizenship certificate ,,,,and lets not forget ..100$ for the passport at a later time :D

Morning everyone ...

YES to all what u said ,,,

and to ur last Question ..is there something USCIS will do for u for free ? :D

and so ..all of these processes are not free ...

after two years and before the expiration or the 2nd Anniv of ur GC by 90 we file for removing condition to get the 10 years one (to remove conditions u file I-751 that cost a total of 545 $ beside u need to go to do ur biometric and probably another personal Interview with ur wife/Husband )

when 3 years ..u r eligible for Citizenship (you file N400 that cost 675 $) and u have English and civilization Exam to success and get ur certificate ....that require u 3 meetings ..first to take biometric , then the actual Interview , and last is the time u go to a cermony to have the Citizenship certificate ,,,,and lets not forget ..100$ for the passport at a later time :D

take care :)

ok... wow what an info!!! big thanks to yah! ill save this...

by the way, biometric sounds like a medical.. what's that?

Biometric as i remember is an appointment where u go and ur finger prints are taken and some info about you .

Good luck to all those who got interviews this coming week... you ll do great!

yeah , good Luck everyone ...im happy to see all that success :)

YA ALAH Bless Our Joureny To The End , Ameen
