The happy June news continues. My husband was approved at the Casablanca Consulate this morning. :dance: We pick up his passport tomorrow and head back to NY in a few days. He had a very straightforward interview. The CO didn't want to see a single photo among the piles of evidence I'd sent him in with. Truly amazing. Basically just some questions about me/us and then congratulations and welcome to the U.S. We are thrilled beyond words. I'll write a review later but just wanted to thank everyone on VJ who has provided info and advice, and generally made this process so much smoother.

I am leaving tomorrow so I was busy packing and couldn't log on yesterday :(.I am so excited I will see hubby after 3 months :)

I already receive a phone call telling me that my pasapport is ready!!!

And my husband will be here on july 10th and we'll leave together on July 12th.... I just can´t believe it!!!! :) :) :)

But hardest part with my family is comming too... Say good Bye... at least for 6 month :( .... But we never know what could happen.... My heart is 50% Happy and 50% sad ....

Good to hear Eca. But don't look at it as "goodbye", just say "so long....until we meet again". I understand it is hard in one respect and nice in another, but you will never give up your family and they will never give you up. They will always be there for you no matter what!!! That is FAMILY!!! You will see them again. But you must enjoy your new life with your Hubby too. Put all you have into that and everything will work out, you'll see. (L)

2009-06-08 Passed Interview!!! Yay!!! Finally!!!

2009-06-10 Passport and Visa paperwork received in mail.

2009-06-19 POE Hawaii!!!

2009-06-24 Visit SSA office

2009-07-01 SSN card arrived in mail

2009-07-09 I-797C Welcome notice arrived in mail

2009-07-16 GC received in mail
