To everyone,

One of the things I've been doing while waiting for interview date to be assigned is reading posts on forum "Moving Here and Your New Life In America". Majority of these things are very helpful, both for someone as a beneficiary or as a petitioner. I'll admit though, some of the things do make me worry/nervous, specifically about finding job, hubby adjusting to life here, making sure he doesn't feel homesick too often, etc. This forum has great advises and experiences posted. The subject that really scare me is about Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits.... divorce, fraud and a lot of thing...

This process is so sad and painful just to end like that....

just found out that m case was shipped today to my consulate

Did NVC already told you they shipped your case? Do cases gets shipped before interview date is assigned?

yes when it was case complete they told me that it will be shipped on that date or the day after .... that was in my case.... i guess now its the consulate that will contact me re the interview date and medical and not nvc... even on the AVR it says that it was sent to my consulate on a certain date

yes when it was case complete they told me that it will be shipped on that date or the day after .... that was in my case.... i guess now its the consulate that will contact me re the interview date and medical and not nvc... even on the AVR it says that it was sent to my consulate on a certain date

Hey everybody, for those who already did this...is it easy to talk to a supervisor at NVC?

Is there any magic words you have to say so they transfer you easily? wink.gif

After my case is complete my husband is gonna call and talk to a supervisor about our K3 interview, and the possibility of using it for our CR1, but the operator already told him it's impossible to do...but we are still trying, who knows right? But like the guides say, we should talk to a supervisor, any advice hot to get a hold of them?

I doubt it. AVR still says same boring thing about case completed on April 13th... Plus, I already know someone from VJ whose case completed on 10th

Atleast ur AVR tells you about ur case completion.Mine is worst"ur check list response ......"BLAH BLAH BLAHHHHHHHHH.I m tired of hearing it since Apr 3rd.I was just checking the tracking link.One case was transferred on the 14th to ISL,PAK.My case was completed on 13th.But I doubt they would transfer a file just the next day of completion.

I m so pissed.I just called and asked if an interview has been assigned yet and if my case was transferred to the embassy.He put me on hold and when he came back on the line ,he said,I am gonna have a supervisor look at your case as we have every thing we need and your case should have been completed.I was like what do you mean,My case was completed on the 13th and about 3 or4 different operators confirmed it.He was like .I It is in last stage on completion and not as quite complete.WHAT DOES THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN.I asked him do you mean they didnt assigned interview yet thats why it is in final stage of completion.He again said NOT AS QUITE COMPLETE.What is this now?????????????? He said call us back in 15-20 days

hey Champi.did you try doing the tracking of DHL? I noticed that on 17th, there was a package sent to Chennai and delivered today? Also, one was sent to mumbai, im wondering if its mine. I wish there was something else we could look at to see which shipment is whose.

Try searching this EXP16APR2009A , I also heard that the consulate is foriegn country is the one that assigns the interview date.

Try searching this EXP16APR2009A , I also heard that the consulate is foriegn country is the one that assigns the interview date.

I would definitely wish that the 17th one was mine, but it could be of anyone. There is another VJ member, Elima, who is going through Chennai and case completed on 10th. But I am sure there are plenty of other applicants from Chennai who are not on this forum In short, I am not getting overly excited about this one or some reason.
