lucky you , my case has been transferred to supervisor, they told me this is going to take 6 to 8 weeks this is unfair, I did everything right why should we wait again is it because my name is Ahmed this really really unfair

Why they let us feel down I was checking on VJ's most of the people how happened to have this problem are Arabs or rather Muslims this a discrimination...

hey good morning to all...I dont think we will hear anytime soon about the interviews...I hope Im wrong and we hear this week though...I will be really disappointed if its a July interview...all this is really out of our hands though...does anyone think writing to congressman would make any difference?

In my opinion, I do really think NVC can't do much after they complete the case. They just have to wait for US Embassy from Beneficiary's country to send them open slots for following month so they can schedule appointments. If our appointments were scheduled 6 months from case completion, then I could see a point in writing the congressman. Anyways... I know it's hard to wait, but we'll get there... just be strong and start planning (or I should say saving) for life after our spouses come to US Here is my list

22" to 24" LCD Monitor

Chair (for computer desk)

Portable GPS Navigation System

Car

Cell Phone

New Bedroom furniture

...and the list goes on....

Hi there Ahmed. Sorry to hear your case got transferred to a supervisor. In your timeline, you write that they said documents are missing. If so, didn't they tell you which ones so you can send them? It's not just an RFE?

i think we should call them every week once until 15 th may... to remind them tht they made our life miserable for one more month in thos looooong visa journey.....

OH yah!! that never stops My comments were just regarding my expectations. I am hoping we get interview scheduled by end of this month or by 1st week of May. Come to think of it, less than 2 weeks left for this month :D

Hey everybody, for those who already did this...is it easy to talk to a supervisor at NVC?

Is there any magic words you have to say so they transfer you easily?

After my case is complete my husband is gonna call and talk to a supervisor about our K3 interview, and the possibility of using it for our CR1, but the operator already told him it's impossible to do...but we are still trying, who knows right? But like the guides say, we should talk to a supervisor, any advice hot to get a hold of them?

One of the things I've been doing while waiting for interview date to be assigned is reading posts on forum "Moving Here and Your New Life In America". Majority of these things are very helpful, both for someone as a beneficiary or as a petitioner. I'll admit though, some of the things do make me worry/nervous, specifically about finding job, hubby adjusting to life here, making sure he doesn't feel homesick too often, etc. This forum has great advises and experiences posted. Did NVC already told you they shipped your case? Do cases gets shipped before interview date is assigned?
