Hey everyone, I'm back :)

I just wanted to say thank you guys for all the support, the interview was easy but the consul is hard to read.

Like, I got there at 7:30, the appointment was at 7:45. There were 24 people in front of me and we could get in the consulate real fast, i didnt bring any eletronics so I didnt have to wait all the people to go through the metal detector.

I got upstairs and the lady gave us a list of documents we had to havve, and the right order. Later they call us to the little room and receives all the documents, then the person there gets a big big file, where it has all our documents, since the I-130, he gave me back my photos, the ones I sent with the I-130, but then he saw NVC didnt accept my photos, I guess the background wasn't white enough. But then since a lot of people dont take a perfect photo you can leave the consulate, take the photo (in the same block) and come back, what sucks is that if you do that, the consul starts seeing people who have all the right documents, so if my number is 5 but the person number 6 has all the right things he will go in front of me. One good thing is he said Id have to take another pictures anyway cause I looked different (I lost 15 pounds) :D

So I went there, toook the photos and came back. Then I wwaited for my number to be called. By 11:30am the lady said the consul was gonna stop for now and would be back at 1pm and we would have to leave the building and come back later. So I went outside, ate, went to an internet cafe to talked to my husband, who was dying to hear the news, i told him all the story and went back to the consulate.

There were only 3 people left to be called, including me, and I was the very last one to be called!!!!! Cmon!!!!!!! It was about 2 pm when my number was called. Like I said, the consul asks some questions and you can see he is trying to "read"you. It's weird, he doesnt laugh and doesnt react really to your answers. Since I've been to the US before he asked me a lot about it, but I never stayed illegal.

These were the questions:

- Asked for photos

- How did you meet your husband?

- When did you decide to get married?

- So you tried the fiance visa and didnt work? (He thought we had applied for the k1 visa before!! I guess he got confused because it was the K3)

- What does your husband for work?

- What visa did you have when you went? (Then he asked a few more questions all visa related)

Ah btw, the interview was all in english, he asked in the beginning "do you speak english?" since I said yes, he went on in english.

So he said "Your visa will be approved, we might do some verification but you will get your passport next week". Like, I really wanted him to say "WELCOME TO AMERICA" hahahahah, is that silly? But I did.

Well, I was kind of affraid of that last "verification" thing, but Im "clean" so I think there wont be any problems. So.....POE June 24th!! Cant wait to see my love! He bought the tickets today! :D

God really made me calm all the time, before and during, I'm really blessed!

Very good luck to all oof you, how awesome will be when all from this topic have their visa approved?!! :)

I'm soooo happy for everyone. But I've been really nervous lately and can't even speak about how impatient I'm getting for my husband. He's so well prepared! I love it! I thought I was the perfectionist after I found out this morning he booked tickets two days prior to our 1st year anniversary! His interview will take place Monday, June 8 @ 8:00 in Dhaka, Bangladesh and our 1 year anniversary is on June 16. For some reason after reading everyones good news I'm soo happy for you all... even though we've never met and god knows we will cross each others path... but from the bottom of my heart...taking part of this forum has lifted a ton from my shoulders along this long journey all thanks to the faithful and positive members of this page. Insha'allah Allah (SWT) grants us all a beautiful and healthy marriage.

For those who have been assigned interview dates in the latter part of the month, your long wait is over. Now take this time and hold it close for it will be a feeling that will never return, the anticipation of our loved one was long and great, but alhum'dulillah we've all made it through in good health. :) For those of you getting 4 hours of sleep, I promise it's all worth it.

For me it looks like it will be Sunday late evening when my husband starts out to head to the consulate. Insha'allah I'll have everyone updated through and through and bare satisfying news in the end.

Many many dua's (prayers) to all and the best luck!
