Hey Champi,

When are you going to have your husband do the medical exam? After the interview letter comes or what?

Yes, we plan to wait for the letter. I don't think doctor will even perform medical exam without interview appointment letter. If he was located locally in Chennai, we may have attempted w/o letter, but it's not worth the travel and there is no rush anyway. But I am having him get vaccinations from his physicial in next two weeks. Here is the list of vaccinations:

* Acellular pertussis

* Hepatitis A

* Hepatitis B

* Human papillomavirus (HPV)

* Influenza

* Influenza type b (Hib)

* Measles

* Meningococcal

* Mumps

* Penumococcal

* Pertussis

I hope some of us starts hearing interview dates in coming week. I've a social function to attend next weekend and it would be nice to finally an answer for those who keeps asking me when my husband will arrive :D

hahahha. Champi, I'm right there with you, but in my case is the opposite, everytime I see people from my family or friends they ask when I'm gonna travel, every single time they ask the same questions!!!! Lately I've been just saying "in June".

This curiosity around my hubby and me sometimes is unconfortable.... His friends always ask, is she here now? and the answer is No.... then they start asking When? when? :wacko:

My friends say :blink: are you still here? when are you leaving?

But the comment that really killme :angry: is when people says to me "Don't let him alone for a long time.... it's dangerous...." and i just think... :wow: they think that i want to be here alone???? :girlwerewolf2xn: If i could be with my hubby :luv: ... I wouldn't be here....!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Anyways... I hope this end soon....

I hear you.We all go thru similar feelings & questions ...just hoping that it will be over soon :(

I feel really bad on each other b'days and our anniversary.We had been married three yrs and never celebrated any anniverisary,bday or any holiday together :(:crying::crying::crying: Every time I tell him inshallah we will be together next time.Lets we if we will be together this yr for my bday in July. :(

Well, I just called the NVC and the operator told me that they are not scheduling interviews until the second week of May. This means it could be June or even July as they seem to do it 6 weeks in advance.

This is unacceptable!!!! :ranting:

hey good morning to all...I dont think we will hear anytime soon about the interviews...I hope Im wrong and we hear this week though...I will be really disappointed if its a July interview...all this is really out of our hands though...does anyone think writing to congressman would make any difference?

Yep, I got the same answer. Call back in 3rd week of May to see IF there is an interview scheduled for your case. Feels like a complete waste of month!

From looking at past VJers, did they have to wait this long for interview? I know Amanda said there was someone who got interview date early april even though her case was completed day after Amanda. Are there a lot of cases like this out there? Or there must be something going down in the month of May for the embassies??? :ranting:
