Thanks vny! :star: Today hubby went to pick up his visa and the infamous sealed envelop he needs to carry to his POE. Tomorrow morning he will book his flight. I am hoping he will arrive Friday eveningggggg....48 hoursssssssss separating me from the LONGGGGGG AWAITED REUNION!!! ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!:star::dance::star:

Yay GS!!!!! That is so great!!! I can't wait until I am at that point, mashallah! I hope you have a wonderful reunion!!!

25 days until the interview for us....

hello amanda...... 25 days ..... done with medical??? .. time will fly and soon you and hubby will be checking your final preparation for interview.. just few more days...

Yeah...my hubby actually did his medical a few weeks before we were even assigned our interview date...so that is good & out of the way. My hubby will be meeting with the third party agent who filled out all our paperwork before the interview to make sure he is good & prepped & has everything he needs. :) I have a really good feeling about it and I feel we will be ok. :)

Hi Amanda...!!! My second interview is on June 15th... so I'm praying and surely we both will be posting good news the same day because that day the CO will say Visa Approved!!! :)

Thanks K.D.,vny, Amanda and Eca y Bubu for all ur sweet wishes and encouraging words. I pray u guys also get over the interview as painlessly as we have and are soon hugging ur spouses!

It is now official. Hubby arrives Saturday evening! Less than 48 hrs left and still so much to do! It of course doesn't help that we are having a huge BBQ with the entire family on Sunday! So we will barely have time to breathe b4 the whole family comes knocking :whistle::lol: Just kidding I love family time, but wish hubby had more time to settle down and more us time (F)(L):luv: U know wt I mean.... ;) I want to apologize in advance for not being visible over the next few days as I will be so busy with hubby and family/ bday preparations, shopping, cleaning  The list is endless....

be patient GS :star: yr bad time is over now and new life is just waiting for both of you with lots of happiness :thumbs::thumbs: 48 hrs.. cool..

18 days for interview....

YES, YES, YES!!! Hang in there GS4EVER, past the home stretch and just reaching for the finish (or STARTING) line!!! (F)(L) Best wishes and Good luck!!!!

Hey, and K.D., yes, just 18 more days for the both of us!!! I'm hanging in and hope you are too. Home stretch for us. Although I'm so so happy for GS, I'm kind of envious too. But I know we will all get there soon, so the hope is still there!!! All part of the journey, I guess. Keeping the faith!!!!!

Yes I know =P It's totally normal to feel envious, I watched so many ppl get approved way faster than we have (it took 230 days for us and 309 days total to be reunited) but b4 u know it, the day will finally be here for u as well. :star: I still can't believe hubby will be with me in less than 2 days. I mean we waited so long it now feels surreal. But I can't complain about the wait, at least he is entering with CR1 and I am thankful for that. I am also thankful our AP was relatively short lived. I know others had it a lot worse than me. Like u, I had to constanly remind myself of the importance of keeping the faith, even during those dark times when hubby and I hit rock bottom. But we now emerge from all of this with a stronger relationship that has weathered many a storm.

Thanks GS4EVER,

I know it will pass as all things eventually do, and we will soon be together again. It was good to get to see her these past couple of weeks and we are just waiting for that last "approval" too. My fingers are crossed.

But don't worry, you will get your "us time" soon. hihihi!!! And thankfully he will be here in just a couple of days!!! Yes, that was a long wait, but the wait will soon be over for you. Hopefully you both will adjust to life together soon and have a long and happy marriage. We are all hoping for the best. Have a great family time and enjoy your Hubby for the rest of your lives.

Have a great weekend everyone and we will all soon be celebrating like GS4EVER!!! Damn, but she get to celebrate early. hahaha!!! ;)

Hi everyone, I also disappeared for a while after the NVC approval.

First, congrats to GS who is probably busy making up for lost time with her husband, also to Corrine and Princess.

Update on my side - medical passed last week, unfortunately had to pay $200 for HPV vaccine that I didn't necessarily want, but whatever gets me closer to my husband.

Interview in exactly a week from today, now it seems like the days are really flying by. Embassy rep told me to bring only my passport and medical envelope, and nothing else. Now, I have original marriage certificate, birth certificate, police clearance, pictures, phone logs etc, but wonder should I bring it, if they say I don't need it? Well I guess I will bring it and take it out only if they ask.

Good luck to everyone with upcoming interviews and soon this thread will be over because we will all be spending time with our loved ones, rather than discussing visa hold-ups.

I'm 25 and the doctor said it was fine if I didnt take the HPV, the difference is she writes on my medical report saying the vaccine here is not public, I don't know how that makes better, but even the consulate said it's fine if I don't take it.

Who understands?!

Lucky you gixbr. Here I guess they want to take all the money they can. The bigger problem, I think, is that I have to get the subsequent shots in the US, kind of a pain, but otherwise my $200 were spent on nothing.

Good luck on your interview!
